Good survey, Richard. I went with S. Africa, though Kenya was my other choice. Per capitia I was banking on S. Africa.
I am glad I was wrong on number (3). My fear was that marriage/family conflicts was too huge of an issue. My second choice was retirement.
On six I went with 3.6 billion, again glad I was wrong! (For some reason 3.6 billion sticks in my mind).
Finally, I guessed too high on number (10). In any case, I fear our sending percentage is too low to compensate. I just read where the more than 5,000 international missionaries of the Southern Baptist Convention represents less than .03 of one percent of its entire church membership.
Thanks for taking the time to do this. Great refresher and reminder!
For fourteen years we lived in northwest Kenya, working among two tribal groups (Pokot and Turkana). In the past sixteen years my teaching and consulting has been in over twenty countries. My wife, Sandy, and I now live in the U.S, though I am often in Asia and Africa. You can learn more by going to my website: http://www.Lewis-Training.com
